sTilt is a linear phase filter which tilts the audio spectrum around a given center frequency.
Features:
Very simple yet quite effective in situations where you need it.
One thing to note though: I have experienced noticeable lag/delay of a tracks signal output whenever this effect is in the tracks chain. This happens whether the effect is on or off. Tested it a few times in different scenarios, same thing happens. It isn't too big of a problem for me, as I use it only in a studio situation and the lag doesn't affect my overall mixing/mastering workflow. Just a small thing that could make this VST much better.
By the way I'm using it in ableton live 9.6 (64-bit) on a PC laptop running Windows 8.1 (64-bit).
Sorry for my very late answer here, but this was already answered in the forum: sTilt is a linear phase filter which creates by design a delay of the signal. Usually this is compensated by DAW PDC, but it does not work in live situations, sic.
V1.4.2 adds zero phase filter, so no lag any more.
Just tried to download the latest sTilt update but the link is not working.
Works gain.
Thank you.
