Shimmer Pads (Wav/Kontakt/Reason)

New Loops presents Shimmer Pads – an expansive collection of 100 cinematic pads, soundscapes, ambiences, atmospheres, and drones. From bright and airy, to low and noisy, you will find a wide range of sounds with a big wash of shimmering reverb.

These shimmer pads will be useful for many genres of electronic music including ambient, cinematic, soundtrack, game sound design, film scores, and any other music where deep sound beds and atmospheres are required.

New Loops Shimmer Pads is available in 3 separate formats - Wav, Kontakt, and Reason Refill, (sold separately). Each format includes the main samples, plus format-specific features as detailed below.

Wav Pack Features:

• Universal WAV format.
• 100 shimmer pad one shot samples.

Audio WAV Pack Requirements

This audio WAV pack works with any software compatible with the standard WAV format. WAV files are compatible with most hardware controllers and samplers including Akai MPC's, Native Instruments Maschine, Elektron, Roland, and Korg samplers. Pack size: 969 MB.

Shimmer Pads for Kontakt

New Loops Shimmer Pads for Kontakt features a simple custom user interface with 5 knobs. These are Attack, Release, Cutoff, Reverb, and Size.

Here's what each knob does:

• Attack - controls the amp envelope attack time.
• Release - controls the amp envelope release time.
• Cutoff - controls the lowpass filter cutoff frequency.
• Reverb - controls reverb amount.
• Size - controls the reverb size.

Kontakt Requirements

This product is NOT compatible with the free Kontakt Player and requires the FULL version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.8.1 or later (not included). Works in Kontakt 6. This product is compatible with Native Instruments KOMPLETE KONTROL (patches are not tagged). Pack size: 969 MB.

Reason Refill Features:

• Reason Refill format.
• 100 Grain patches.
• 100 shimmer pad one shot samples.
• All samples recorded in C key.
• 38 seconds long samples.
• Can use samples as audio or in NN-XT.
• 24-bit 44.1 kHz WAV files.
• Mod wheel assigned to filter.
• Aftertouch assigned to phaser effect.

Reason Refill Requirements

Shimmer Pads Reason Refill requires Reason Studios Reason 10 or later with Grain (not included). Pack Size: 686 MB.
