RaveGenerator3 is a sampler designed for rave stabs sounds from the 90's and later.

The sound engine is intended for getting the gritty and crunchy sounds of early samplers, and the nasty noise coming from the multiple resampling.

It features more than 1000 stabs sounds, about 500 bass sounds + synth sounds and Kick drums
It works by stacking the sounds (up to 16 layers), with ADSR, pan, volume and tune controls for each layer.

The plugins comes with 256 presets demonstrating the layer approach.

Features :

  • A patch randomizer function let you create instant stabs sounds presets (also generating a name for the preset :-).
  • The plugin can load external samples of course (wav or aiff format).
  • It's multitimbral, each layer can be assigned to a MIDI channel.
  • Resizable UI.
  • FX global section with delay / reverb / filter.
  • Polyphonic / monophonic play mode.
  • Automatable loop points and start point for each samples.
  • Internal preset browser.
