Persistent Q is a precision EQ tool designed for both mixing and mastering applications.

It can handle a wide range of tasks, from basic tonal balancing and problem-frequency removal to creating space between vocals and instruments, as well as performing subtle corrections on the master bus.

Core filter types including Peaking, High Shelf, Low Shelf, High-Pass, and Low-Pass are implemented with an intuitive workflow, prioritizing natural and reliable frequency responses that engineers can trust in real-world production environments rather than overly experimental behavior.

With a wide Q setting, you can gently shape the overall tonal character of a mix, while narrow Q values allow precise control of resonances and problematic frequencies.

Frequency, Gain, and Q parameters can be adjusted quickly while maintaining a stable and musical sound. In mixing, Persistent Q is ideal for shaping presence, clarity, weight, and spatial balance within individual tracks. In mastering, it excels at subtle tonal refinement and final corrective adjustments without compromising the overall balance of the mix.
