EchoMelt3 is a total reimagining of the original, taking the concept of audio-melting to another level. BPM melt modulation, host-synced pitch jumps, integrated one-knob Chorus, and spaced-out echo trickery are just some of the interesting features to explore. EchoMelt3 comes quipped with an EQ-Saturation combo for that pleasant lo-fi crunch, tape noise and a special Mondo control to drive the whole effect into uncharted territory. EchoMelt3 is a unique, quirky and wide-ranging dub box full of surprises.

Not one to usually chip in here, but as a tape plugin fanatic (it's always a part of my sound), I'd like to recommend Echomelt by Psychic Modulations. Yes, it labeled as a delay; for me, its strength(s) are in signal modification. It has a really nice tape sound, which can be brutal/low fidelity, or very high-fidelity.
Echomelt offers a ton of options AND provides that 70s/80s/90s sound. I just turn off the delay; I'm using it for the master channel. "Toneshaper", "Melt", and options at the bottom of the plugin (dry/wet/Mondo/noise/volume) take the effects and give me all the option I could want. It's 'the sound'.
I love it. I place it first in the mastering chain, sculpt what I'm looking for, then I follow it with whatever else is necessary. Echomelt gives me the memories my ears brought to me/my brain remembers from those years. It has that warmth that I'm looking for.
