Synchro Arts updates RePitch to v1.1

Synchro Arts has updated RePitch to version 1.1. Here's what they say:

RePitch from Synchro Arts is a vocal tuning DAW plug-in which enables the pitch, timing and volume of any monophonic vocal (or instrument) to be adjusted via a powerful and intuitive graphical note editor.

Unlike some other vocal correction plugins, RePitch only applies its processing when absolutely necessary, leaving the rest of the signal unaltered. This means that vocals processed with RePitch sound natural and 'undoctored', even with the most extreme edits.

Following feedback from the initial product release back in September, the 1.1 update includes a large number of fixes, improvements and new features, here are some highlights:

• New 'Pitch Drift' control in the 'Center Note' tool so you can quickly adjust pitch fluctuations which often occur over the length of a sung note.
• Pro Tools users now have a SynchroLink connection between RePitch and VocAlign Ultra, so you can make edits to a lead vocal in RePitch that instantly update your double track too, saving hours of editing.
• When using SynchroLink, VocAlign Ultra now processes up to 3 times faster.

Existing RePitch owners can download the 1.1 update for free now from the Synchro Arts website. There is also a 14-day trial.
