Decomposer releases Sitala 2.0 - 16-pad drum sampler - Apple Silicon, VST3 and more

Decomposer has just released their second major version of Sitala, the easy to use drum sampler.

Sitala has 16 pads, automatic beat slicing, and a surprising amount of depth in its 6 controls for tweaking the sounds.

This new release adds support for Apple Silicon, a 4-by-4 MPC-style layout, two new factory kits (one retro, the other classic hip hop), dark mode, instant missing sample finder (for those ill-fated sample folder reorganizations), VST 3 support, and a bunch of smaller features.

Sitala's been around for more than 5 years, but this is the biggest update since 2021.

This update costs $20. Sitala has been free in the past, and the old version still is, but the new release packs a lot of goodies that should make it worth the modest price.

The update is available for Windows and macOS.
