Is there a good Pre-Amp Hardware Pedal for Retro 60s Tones (Beatles, Kinks, Stones, etc.). I cannot afford a Vox AC-30 or a Fender Twin Reverb (mid to late 60s). I'll be teaching a class to troubled kids called, "The Sound of the Sixties and Beyond." I'd like my lessons to be as authentic as possible.

Joyo ACTone (or one of its many clones) is pretty good bang for the buck. If money's no object try the UA Ruby or even one of the modellers

Tonex. If you can wait a month or so, IK is going to announce something really cool for it.

I think Tonex is a hardware pedal.
You could find more stuff on aliexpress, then youtube them to see how they sound. Those are the cheapest and more modern sounding than joyo's timeline and the others that came out for low cost.

It's software, the hardware pedal runs the software, and details can be easily found on IKM's website.

Something with a tube in it, tubes were the tech in those days.

Tubes are only a part of the equation. Even most tube amps can't get that sound, including current production AC30's.
