Hi! I'm just out of surgery, but want to make some progress towards getting what's needed for the upcoming semester. I'll be teaching The Sound of the Sixties to "troubled" teens.

Anyway, for medical reasons, I cannot play guitar at present. Can someone record a few clean. dry 8-bar (or whatever) recordings of The Beatles Revolver guitar riffs for me.

I would then run them through different amp/cab combinations A/B compare until I nail the combination that give me that sound.

Any help is appreciated:

*She Said, She Said
*Dr. Robert
*Taxman
*I Want To Tell You

I wouldn't be upset if I had I Feel Fine and Ticket To Ride, but hey . . . I'll take whatever I can get as I'm wee little, disabled beggar.

My wife just got out of major surgery as well, so I have limited time atm.
When's the deadline?

Hi Bert,
I probably have a week to 10-days to get this together. Any help is appreciated. I wish your wife a speedy recovery. My old friend always said, "Without your health, you have nothing." Well, I'm starting to get that . . . I can't see and can't move my upper right side at present. ;-0

Too bad, I can't even deliver one single test recording so soon. Taking care has precedence currently

Bombadil (big Beatles fan) and tapper mike (played extensively in a lot of covers bands so knows his onions..and probably Beatles..) might be worth asking, off the top of my head.

I can't even play me own songs properly, never mind anyone else's. :scared:

Thanks. I PM'd them. Even healthy, I'm not sure I'd play the riffs well enough to audition amps and cabs. LOL

Export tracks to midi import to daw apply instruments and effects.

YT is your friend.

He's got all the gear The Beatles used. Epi Casnio's Rics He uses the same vox amps and mic'ing practices.

Mike and all, I need clean/no amp or fx in order to determine my own rig. Exporting midi might work if I could find a suitable guitar VST.

Even if this won't help me at this time, the midi is very useful. Thanks.

EastWest Fab Four may or may not be of interest.

http://www.soundsonline.com/guitars-and-bass/fab-four
Exact Recreations of the Original Sound
Most of the sounds in Fab Four would be impossible to create without the original (and incredibly rare) equipment. For example, the "revostortion" guitar sound was created by feeding a Epiphone Casino guitar into one EMI REDD 47 preamp, and the output into a second EMI REDD 47 preamp (the exact design from the EMI/Abbey Road engineers). The same kind of limiters (Fairchild) and compressors (rare EMI RS124 modified Altec) were used for dynamics control, and everything was recorded through vintage microphones (Neumann, AKG, Cole, and STC) and into a J-37 tube 4-track.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

Guys, I'm trying to find someone who can record a few clean/dry riffs that would enable me to audition my amps and cabs. I realize this is a big ask, but it's the only ask. I cannot find any clean, dry Revolver guitar riffs on YouTube. If anyone knows of any . . . that would work. If not, any bored guitarists out there willing to help a banged up fella out?

Had to use more Gretsch tone don't have a Epi Casino/es 330 soap bar
it's both the leads all the way through.

Here are the lead guitars dry.

All via GP8 no daws were harmed.
