Hi everyone,

We wanted to announce the release of our newest sample library - Scoring Piano!

Created for modern scoring, we sampled a vintage Fischer Upright piano from 1900, at Altamira Sound in Alhambra, CA. James Riotto, our engineer, co-owner of Altamira Sound and owner of the Fischer Upright, was our collaborator on this fantastic project.

THE LIBRARY
We meticulously captured the essence of this vintage upright piano over an intensive two-day recording and sampling session, recording 2360 samples. The combination of three meticulously crafted microphone positions by James brings the piano to life and into the room with you. Convey emotion and depth in your music with controllable key and pedal noises, and achieve score-ready sounds by utilizing a range of built-in effects, including delay, reverb, low-pass filtering, and EQ.
Requires the full version of Kontakt, version 6.4.2 and above.

ABOUT JAMES RIOTTO
James, a versatile musician and engineer, has collaborated with a range of artists like Jamie xx and Dirty Projectors. In January 2022, he co-founded Altamira Sound with partners Rob Shelton, Carly Bond, and Andrew Maguire.
With a background in jazz and a decade at Tiny Telephone Studios, James also excels in crafting arrangements for strings and woodwinds.

Introductory Price:
$41 [reg $69]
