I find the Markov Melody Generator very good when it comes down that I can drop a MIDI file on it and the generator extracts certain setting.

But somehow this only seems to work on one phrase. I cannot tell him to learn "on the track level".

Or can the generator version with the MIDI file analysed be saved and re-used, so that I don't have to drop in the MIDI file on every single phrase?

Just save the phrase to the library..

That does not seem to work as I intended.
I saved it as a phrase, but then it is a phrase and no generator anymore.

works for me.. how are you saving it? see the stack of ovals with the "+" next to the pencil icon at the bottom? Click there to save it..
