Quick question regarding Ableton's midi effects. Do you put the scale then chord effect, or chord then scale?
Playing a chord sounds different depending on the layout.
What would be the correct position for these effects in the rack?

Chord before scale if you want the chords to fit a define scale...

scale|chord = notes quantized + chord fixed
chord|scale = notes quantized + chord quantized
There is no "correct" position, it depends on what you are trying to do. The classic way would be chord|scale. But if you want to do some Detroit Techno stuff, scale|chord would be then a good choice...
