Just wondering if Flow Stone is being put out to pasture? Development and forum seems pretty stalled/dead at this point can anybody confirm?

If you click the links on their site you get sql errors, like the site is not being maintained and they are shutting down the shop?

we don't know
We have attempted to contact Maik(coder) and Malc(owner)
The Slack and Facebook are still active.
The website does go down from time to time
Crossed fingers that it's not the end

Yes I wrote them one this morning no response figured I would check here see if anyone knows if they are continuing development. I will try the FB groups. I heard a rumor that it may be the end. They may be in hibernation instead not sure.

Ok I checked the FB user group and it appears dsp robotics is no longer a company now is Cavonix LTD. Not sure but it does not look like development is going past V4 under the same company at least.

There were a few staff that seemed to be worried or stressed. I guess that could be, I didn't stick around to find out. They made a really good beta project though.
If someone bought the product maybe it can become a more stable enterprise. That's My hope.

Actually, Carl Owen and Malcom Barbour (from DSP Robotics) with Steven Lake founded Cavonix LTD already in January 2019... .Davidson A & M wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 10:37 pm Ok I checked the FB user group and it appears dsp robotics is no longer a company now is Cavonix LTD. I believe it may have the potential for robotics applications, but as a VST development platform, I would not consider it.
It has been argued elsewhere that the "utility" of visual programming languages (Reaktor, FlowStone, ...) may actually be little for programmers. It's useful for non-programmers so that they don't have to consider complicated language-specific stuff.

I thought Flowstone was an amazing product, almost magical that it could make stand alone VSTs! Pity its not being still developed- did it ever go 64 bit (able to make 64 bits VSTS?) - what about VST3?
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S49MK2, Studio One, BWS, Live 12. PUSH 3 SA, Osmose, Summit, Pro 3, Prophet8, Syntakt, Digitone, Drumlogue, OP1-F, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Nord Drum3P, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

They have v. 4.0 of FS (64-bit) in alpha stage...been few years already (there is just one developer (AFAIK) doing the coding work... though, many user-base testers involved (one (if accepted) could download the alpha in development by joining some web group as a tester)).
DSP Robotics site is fully back ATM so maybe they had some issues/changes going on... .

So Flowstone has become 'CAVLab' and its purpose now is in the domain of self-driving vehicles.

I agree.Jeff McClintock wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 9:56 pm FLowstone had such a beautiful user interface. Really impressive coding.
It inspired me to give the interface on my own vst maker a much softer look with rounded corners, alpha blending, bendy cables and stuff. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1amiGmv ... sp=sharing
