Receive-send data module strange behaviour

For some reason this is not working .
Two variables in the template , first one selected by dropdown one(left ) , second variable selected by drop down (right) but using a send receive module ..somehow only the last data module is send

Both send receive are named channels (not working ) , giving it another name it works
changing name back to 'channels 'it works
Think this is a bug

O.K so here was the issue
Both send and receive were named channels (identical letters) , but the send module had a space after it which was NOT visible .
This should be fixed to prevent future headaches
