I’ve been using Rayzoon Jamstix for years, but recently the development and support have been dwindling. I hate to say this as Ralph has been great at supporting it for years, but the Mac version as been in perpetual beta and the last update introduced a lot of unresolved bugs.

Anyone know of a good alternative for Mac? Something that can generate intelligent drum patterns from a basic pattern or MIDI input?

Superior Drummer is probably one of the best drum plugins out there I don't know if it is exactly like Jamstix though..

I wish they would make I physical modeling drum plugin to reduce space..

I don’t think SD generates MIDI from style and drummer patterns though

No but grooves can build patterns pretty quickly..

Melda Mdrummer?
Not totally sure, but it also has some kind of 'brain' to generate patterns I think but it's been quite long since I checked it out.

Thanks, but not really interested in Melda since he posted how he really feels about his Mac customers...
