Anyone using the Pioneer AS-1 ? It’s Black Friday and it’s a toss up between that and a Roland SE-02..

By the audio demos I’m leaning toward the AS-1

Cheers

Couldn't resist the sound Dave, was watching videos all last night, it was a toss up between that and the SE02 but the sound of this got me. Got some nice FX too and for only £394 was quite a good price.

good for you :)

so far, ive really not seen anything that has made me jump at a deal. few retailers doing "up to 10% off" but seemingly nothing on my list makes their lists

I had seen the AS-1 a while back and liked the sound but it was like £500 or so then. When I seen it drop to £394 at the online store I thought aye I'm having that. It'll pair up nice with Quantum. Sounds meaty at the bottom end too and I like the BB Delay :tu:

I was also thinking that not many mono synths come with these features and quality sound for less than £400

The FX section especially the BBD are a massive bonus for me personally. I could have just got a Behringer Neutron for £270 but then I'd want a decent FX pedal which would have been maybe more than the AS-1 in total.

In 2019 I'll be buying the Ventris Reverb and Nemesis Delay pedals to hook up to the rig.

have you looked at that new chase bliss reverb?
chase bliss do some amazing!!!! stuff.
lots of deep editing too, through dipswitches changing functions n shit.
synth lovers pedals for sure :hihi:
