Problems re-installing Valhalla plugins

I'm in the process of rebuilding my studio in a new PC (Windows 7 64-bit), and today I installed Room, Shimmer, UberMod and VintageVerb from the (fairly) new 'My Account' page. Installation seemed to go OK (the 'dll files are all where they should be), but Reaper doesn't 'see' the newly-installed fx so I can't open and authorise them. I noticed this is similar to an issue with Ableton, so I tried the 'vcredist' fix, but still no joy. I've also reinstalled them several times following the tips and the FAQ page.

I think it's something connected to the new-style keyfile, because I'd successfully installed VVV from an old installer I'd kept on the old PC. It's gone now though :(

I have got all my old installers and keyfiles so I suppose they'll work, but I'd rather be completely up-to-date on the new machine.

Any ideas?

Try running this updater from Microsoft and see if it fixes these issues:

Thanks Sean, I tried that and initially it didn't work, but I ran 'Clear cache/re-scan' in Reaper and they showed up, and the authorization worked fine. So we're all good :)

I screwed something up with my new machine Windows 7 64bit . i installed ValhallaPlate just fine but then i think i tried opening Vroom before i put keyfile on my desktop or something. i can see the .dlls for VRoom, Vshimmer and Ubermod but Ableton Live 9 64bit can not. ok i admit i had taken too much of my meds!

Ableton Live is one of those hosts that you need to rescan the plugins after installing. I'd also recommend re-reading the installation FAQ:
