Phantom clips/patterns in different tracks

I'm thinking about removing the ability of create phantom clips/patterns in different tracks, but I would keep it in the same track. In other words: you will be able to use this feature for all the patterns/clips that are located in the same track, doing as many phantom copies as you need. But the same clip cannot be phantom copied to other tracks.

Of course, you could still create hard copies of such clips in the other tracks.

Doing this is going to be a big change and it will request some work, but it will ease my work with other features.

What do you think?

edit: ofc, If I find a good way to keep them together with the new features, I will do it.
