Hi all!
Is it possible to change (load another) session via an assigned button of my Midi controller?
I'm using Cantabile for live purposes. For now I defined three racks in one big session, each rack has one VST-instrument and an effect or two at the most.
I assigned some of my controller buttons to toggle the bypass-switch of each rack. So I can switch on each VST-instrument or play them all together - don't get afraid I only play one instrument at a time
But my ideal solution would be to assign some buttons to load three specific sessions. If I wanna play bass guitar then I press one button (which loads the session with the bass-rack), if I wanna play keys I'd press another button which loads the keys session etc.
Is this possible with Cantabile?
The reasons for all this:
I mainly try to reduce computer resources - every VST adds a bit of cpu load.
And having loaded only one instrument-session at a time would give me the option to assign all possible controller buttons to this one rack and I won't have to share them between all VST's loaded in one big session.
Change Session via Midi controller button ???

Yes it is possible!
Setup -> Midi assigments -> Learn controller
then assign to Setlist -> whatever you want
or You can use subsessions in the same way
Kind regards, Alexander
