Version 3 - why no Mac version?

I just got an email about version 3 but it sounds like it's still gong to be PC only. That is disappointing as there is nothing really like Cantabile on Mac and I would have hoped that development would have focussed on widening support, not sticking with limiting development frameworks like MS .NET
