Hi, there, I'm new to Kontakt (just got Kontakt 5) and SC. Those SC instruments which I own (indluding Pan Drums, Morpheus and Xtended Piano) sound great, but I'm finding my 32 bit machine struggles with the RAM requirements. I've read in the Kontakt manual that some, though not all, 3rd party Kontakt instruments can be converted to NCW format. Can the SC instruments be converted? I'm assuming this will enable me to use more instruments at a time.
I posted this question here yesterday, though it seems to have vanished....
SC instruments convertable to NCW format?

Nek,
Pan Drums and Xtended Piano are already NCW format. In fact, almost all of our "Kontakt Player Compatible" libraries are NCW format.
Morpheus is not. If you want to save the library as NCW, you can do that yourself. Simply save one of the instruments as Patch + Samples, and check "Compress Samples". Then delete the WAV files from our Samples folder and move all your newly created NCW files into our Samples folder instead. (Don't erase the IR Samples or Wallpaper folders in there though, be careful to ONLY remove the WAVs). Now go to Kontakt and Batch Resave the Morpheus Instruments folder, making sure to "Allow Alternate File Types" so that Kontakt will replace .WAV files with .NCW.
cheers

Thanks Dan. And pardon my delay in saying so.
