The long wait is over. After all these time, we finally are embarking a new adventure with the arrival of Chinee Series QIN Edition.
Chinee Series QIN Edition is a FREE major upgrade for all existing customers. QIN brings about the real usability of our instruments that was not fully realized before.
What is QIN?
------------------------------------------
QIN literally means "instrument" in Chinese. QIN engine is a Windows native sample playback plugin engine developed by Kong Audio. Even though we barely have the adequate resource for tackling such an ambitious project, and despite all the flaws of QIN, yet we are still proud of what we have here. And QIN is not half bad at all.
QIN is designed to fit our own sampled instrument development needs, so we approach it a bit different from other existing samplers. We stress the role of the intermediary controls - the Extenders. It allows us to be as expressive as we would want to, yet it's still easily accessible to everyone.
QIN features 20 Extenders which the user can use them for arranging, manipulating, embellishing a patch. It allows the user to make the instrument his own. QIN makes our pre-QIN edition old version of instruments obsolete. Every Chinee Series instrument becomes alive in QIN engine.
