Any plans for development of the Hulusi? That would be an excellent addition.

It's just that I'm planning to write a piece focusing on the Dai minority in Yunnan, of which the Hulusi is the main instrument. Would be nice to have it at disposal, instead of using the EW RI library.

Wonder how extensive is the use of Hulusi in the rest of China.

To be honest, if you have a planned project, don't wait for us. I have no idea when it will be Hulusi's turn. We have several other instruments that are higher on the schedule...sorry.

Shan is now back to his working hut and will return with something new when it's ready. He must have channeled you somehow so we get Hulusi this time.

I don't know what he'll conjure up the next time. It probably will be someone else's turn to get his wish come true?
