Sorry, I have no idea!

The developer of the plug once wrote this manual in a post on this board. I just saved it into a text file.

I use tapestop in FL Studio just fine. (not asio, though).

The catch is that as an effect, it only works on the channel it's applied to, and then only when the sequencer is running either in a single pattern or in the playlist for song mode. To trigger it, you simply push the button. To trigger it to resume, you push it again, all of which can be automated in FL if you desire, but it doesn't respond to the sequencer in that way on its own.

ALso, on one pattern that is looped in a song, the first instance of the loop will be stopped, but the others wil keep on going, so if you want to loop 8 bars , but want to tapestop for 4 of them, it's best to make one single 8 bar pattern to get the proper effect.

Does this help? It's a fun program.

I imagine, in FL Studio, what's happening is that it preloads the sounds of the pattern in it's buffer, but other patterns go on p[laying.

This may have been in the manual, but there is also a crossfade to audio stream setting under setup that lets you change the settings.

ok see my situation is as follows:

I'm writting a song
the intro and the first vere of the song are in 65 bpm
after that the chorus jumps to 85 bpm

when I return to the second verse the tempo come back to 65 bpm

but I dont wanna do a fade out cuz I just hate the way it comes out.... so what I plan to do is to "tapestop" it and then just go right ahead with my 65 bpm tempo

the thing is I wont be doing this stop on FLstudio
on FLstudio I do all my drum tracks... but as far as guitar and bass a vocals I do it live on acid pro 4 which will soon be 5 lol

so how would I use this plugin on acid

my theory is that I will have to record the entire verse up to the chorus and leave like a couple of seconds at the end of the chorus

I play this on wherever and I "tape stop" it manually
and just keep on going form there

I of course have not tried this nad have no idea if it will work. any thoughts?

thx 4 posting
bye 4 now
