Hello Everyone,

I’m new to KVR Audio and just wanted to let everyone know that I recently published a blog of music theory as it relates to guitar playing (appropriately called “music theory and the guitar”) and thought some of you might find it useful.

The goal of the blog is to provide a frame of reference that will allow students to see the big picture of music so that they can more easily understand where the individual pieces fit.

If anyone is interested, it can be accessed at https://blitzstarguitar.com/blog/ (https://blitzstarguitar.com/blog/).

Please let me know if you find it helpful. Thanks.

Skimming through the various webpages, it looks good enough to provide students with a solid foundation, and makes progressive sense. Great work.

Hi, I hope you don't mind my advice. The content of your course looks good and covers a great deal for guitarists. I'd say most guitar players don't know even half of that theory so it's all good. The only problem is, the website is very ugly. The large guitar picture is too bright, it hurts my eyes. Also, it flickers when you hover over it because it appears to be a link (to the site I'm already on). None of the site's content is above the fold because of the massive guitar picture taking up the whole screen, so when you click the various pages, nothing changes. I think it would be better to get rid of that image and find another one with a smaller height. Put the smaller image in the header, instead of on the page. You can edit the header in and put an image in the middle of it. You could photoshop (or use Paint.net) to create an image the right size and shape for the header.

Your site still uses the default favicon (the icon at the top of the browser tab). Find an image you like and change it. It looks professional when you have your own favicon (like this site has a “K” icon).

Best of luck!
The Harmonic Equalizer is a real-time digital audio processor, which can amplify or suppress individual harmonics of your instrument as you play. You can even set different harmonic levels for each note.
