Not keen on the headstock design, a possible breakage area. On the plus, low price includes UK delivery, Alder body and about the correct weight for a real Strat. Might make a decent mod project.



A traditionally styled standard electric guitar with an H-S-S pickup configuration. The 22 fret maple neck with kabukalli fingerboard is bolted to the contoured alder body. The bridge has a vintage-styled vibrato system and controls consist of 2 tones and a master volume with a 5-way lever selector. The humbucking pickup in the bridge position is especially suited to high gain rock and blues genres, whilst the middle and neck single coils provide a wide palette of tone colours to choose from.

If you're in the market for a LP, T or S-style guitar on budget, Ivor Mairants (Leeds UK) have some b-stock Vintage branded guitars with slight cosmetic flaws. £199 - £265

I asked about theses flaws and they could be runs in the lacquer or dips in the paintwork, minor really. They above entry level and use premium Wilkinson parts. They have a reduction of around 50%, cheaper than second-hand.
