Can Patchwork "Sandbox" plugins?

I am not sure I understand the question. Sandbox is usually the opposite: each plug-in works on its own sandbox so that it cannot interfere with others.

Does the host needs to report anything to the plugin? If so, could the host could be made to anonymize itself so the plugin thinks it's in a different DAW with each instance?

Usually the name of the host is reported to the plug-in (at least in VST format). This is the type of information that you cannot modify in PatchWork.
