No insert parts window on MacBook Air

Hello all!  I just got XT on my MacBook Air and have no insert parts window when right clicking in the sequencer out beside the drum sampler or synthesizer.  I’ve had XT on windows and love it but Im green to the program on Mac. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
