I was wondering about the MIDI file that can be dropped into Markov Melody Generator.
What is the best MIDI-file that the Markov Melody Generator can learn from?
If I have a Guitar Pro File from Ultimate Guitar with a good guitar track - can I save this guitar track as MIDI so that the MMG learns from it?
I habe Melodyne, too, which has the ability to analyze a song from a melodic (monophonic) point of view. Would an exported MIDI file from Melodyne be of use?
What is better?
A handcrafted one (UG) or an analyzed one (Melodyne, Cubase...)?
Markov Melody Generator - best MIDI-file to input?

There isn't really a "better" one. Either one will work just fine. Totally up to you which you prefer. Just keep experimenting till you are happy with the results..
