I think this could be interesting. I'm just a bloody Max/MSP noob, but I'm always interested in sequencing/creating rhythmic stuff with Max/MSP.

Max 8.3 introduces over 20 new objects and numerous features for composing music and sound using audio signals. Inspired by using ramps as a basic control signal, these new features - available now to all Max 8 users - provide numerous ways to both generate and respond to ramps in both simple and complex ways.

New object highlights include:
- A signal-enabled version of the classic table object (table~)
- A new UI object for modular control of matrix~ (crosspatch)
- An audio-based particle engine (mc.snowphasor~ / mc.snowfall~)
- Objects that generate control data across MC channels (mc.generate~, mc.assign, mc.pattern~)

For more information, visit our update page at https://cycling74.com/new-in-max and visit our Instagram for demos of Max 8.3 features in action. We look forward to hearing what you create.
