As I mentioned in the first post, this could be achieved by using midi-out instead (you can even choose the midi port in reaktor), and then use midi-to-cv module in modular but then the modulation will be stepped which I guess is acceptable for some scenarios.
Unless it accepts an audio side chain input as an instrument ( does vst 2 do that ?)
