Hello, I am just getting in to it. Potential buyer of Es-3.
Scenario:
Babyface (not pro) Adat out -> ES-3
Behringer Ada8200 Adat out -> Babyface Adat in
I am currently not using the outputs of my Ada8200.
Want to have the audio signal from my hardware Behringer 2600 and K-2 entering the Babyface through the Ada8200 while controlling them with CV generated from Silent Way in Cubase out from the Babyface via Es-3.
Kind regards
Stefan

Regular TS patch cables with the ES-3 right (no need for floating ring)?
I was hoping that Learner supported NRPN and not just CC. Considering
your invention has a high resolution it would make sense to finetune 16384
values instead of 128.

Yes, the ES-3 has mono (TS) sockets.

Works great!
Having Cubase 8.5 I used the VST2 version of Voice Controller for calibration and loaded that file in the Voice Controller VST3 instrument later on. There is no sidechain button in VST3 in Cubase 8.5 here.
Calibration of Behringer 2600:
Cubase vst connections, add 1 stereo adat output, ES-3 1/2
cubase - add audiotrack mono ( ”Synth in”)
Add stereo group track with insert silent way Voice processor vst2
Route ”Synth in” output to the stereo group
Route Group output to ES-3 1/2
Patch eurorack ES-3 Output 1 to B2600 Mult
Patch B2600 Mult to Vco1 - Vco3 Kybd CV
Patch eurorack Es-3 Output 2 to B2600 Ar env gen Gate in
Patch b2600 vco3 tri to vcf vco3
Raise that fader
Make sure all concerned software faders are at unity.
Calibrate and save
Then I just close that project and start anew with a midi controlled Voice processor VST instrument. Load the calibration file.
Create 8 Adat mono outputs in Vst Connections.
Route Voice processor output to ES-3 outputs in the Cubase mixer.
Play the keyboard.
Genius product, even enabled me to play 3 voice paraphonic from the B2600.
