I have not previewed every sound in ST 2 XL- I have heard a lot though. Since ST 3 is out now can I get those extra ST 2.5 sounds at a screaming discount now? (I had missed the cut off date on my ST 2 XL purchase to get them free). I saw the bass capsule download at Sonic Realty's site for 5 bucks- the price is right! I bought the Studio Drums capsule and loved it- excellent!- but im like past Coinstar broke right now- so I cant get them just yet, just wondering what is the best possible multi velocity layer electric bass I can get for Sampletank?- be it a free download soundfont or ST 3 free with a free soundfont or simply a elec bass soundfont in ST 2.5 I have not heard yet? I just remember the soundfonts with many velocity layers being a small number in ST 2.5- I still like ST 2.5 dont get me wrong- great memories and still making new ones.

Thanks Allen, I was checking that out. It looks like there is a Studiophonik player gui that is similar to the Sampletank GUI but not the same- maybe Sphnk gui has more synth like controls? Now with the Sampletank 3 gui is there any advantage to the Studiophonik gui? Im guessing the package that comes with the Stdphnk gui costs more- it all looks awesome
