I have B-Piano and I was wondering if there is any point in upgrading to the new ASPlayer (rather than staying with the current Kontakt version). Does it offer any new functionality? Cause if it doesn't I would prefer to not install any unnecessary software.

The ASPlayer is only a way to let everybody use our libraries, even people that don't own kontakt.
So you can stay with what you have, they are equivalent

Hi. Is the loading time similar to an Instrument that has been resaved in Kontakt 4 Format? Thanks ...

No, actually kontakt will be a lot faster especially with the new load functionality of kontakt 4.1 where it loads everything in the background and lets you start working on your project.

The loading time should be similar (or takes just a little longer) to the loading of a lib in Kontakt 3.
