I just had a patch that was loading at 75% and tried switching from computability mode to aggressive mode and it has dropped to 25% - this in a dualcore 2/2ghz. I just thought that seemed a strange reading and change.

Do you have more than one instance of the same plugin in that patch?
I assume you have one 3 times...
As far as I know agressive mode computes these 3 plugins in parallel while in the other mode it does not and computes it sequentially...
Just a guess what might happen here.
