Extra Boy Pro - Mp3 vs. Wave

Can someone tell me if there's a huge different extracting vocals on a mp3 file vs. wave when using this plugin (i have the pro version)?

The source material for this demo is an mp3. Ideally a higher quality source material is preferred since the processing involved in mp3 encoding can destroy the phase information which Extra Boy requires for optimum performance.
