Hey all,
A while back someone had posted a link to a PDF that was chock full of music theory. I think it was off of the Propellerheads website. I haven't been able to locate that particular thread nor have I been able to find it on Props site. Does anyone have a link to that?
I'm also looking for a freeware interactive chord and scale program. I have a couple of online resources that I use (chord house and the like)but I would like to have one for when I don't have access to the internet.
Thanks in advance for the help!

just what I was thinking
but play the melodies as they present themselves, without regard to scales
try out the different chords and learn their flavors

I found Olav Torvund's theory stuff very useful although ravenspiral is still my most favoured resource. It's superficially guitar related, but I found what I learnt there very useful in a more general way.

That's the one. Thanks!
I know this stuff intuitively but as more and more musicians work with me I need to be able to communicate it a little more effectively. I'm 100% self-taught and I need to learn this stuff by name. Not everyone communicates music in the same way.
I have chordspace and I think it can be a useful tool but I'm not looking to take any shortcuts here.
