Westgatesounds has announced the release of Incantations V, which consists of 24 all new sounds made from vocal samples in the DNR Collaborative Developers Pack as well as some additional vocal samples of Daniel Kemp and Leilah Wendell, some vocal samples derived from public domain Gregorian Chants, plus new vocal sources from Paule Amca.
These samples were then programmed as wavesequences in the Anomaly VSTi and multi-sampled, resulting in the 24 chants of Incantations V. All sounds are looped and each Incantation is about 36 seconds long.
Incantations V is composed of two volumes: Dreams of Sky and Nightmares Under Earth.
Nightmares Under Earth uses the same programming as Dreams of Sky, but all the voices are micro-tuned and two of the voices are de-tuned per sound.
Each volume is available in both SFZ/WAV format and SF2 (SoundFont) format. The SFZ/WAV formats come with presets for Wusikstation, Dimension Pro, Rapture and Kontakt:
- The SFZ/WAV format is 582 MB per volume and is $20 per volume.
- The SF2 format is 290 MB per volume and is $15 per volume.
There is also a bundle available for both volumes in each format.
