Steinberg has issued a hotfix update for HALion 3.3, HALion Symphonic Orchestra 1.3 and HALion String Edition 2.3 as well as both the HALion Player 3.3 retail and HALion Player 3.3 OEM versions.
The new version updates functions within the underlying HALion 3 sampler engine shared by all these products. These include enhancements when recalling tempo settings in standalone mode, with zone display in the Key Zone Editor as well as program change functionality.
HALion 3.3.1.456 pre-release fixes:
- Standalone: Tempo settings in preferences are now recalled on next start.
- The keyzone editor displays all zones now.
- Program changes are working like expected now.
- Fixed an issue where the Nuendo Key Editor and the Transport bar could be affected by HALion.
- The Help Menu now works when Halion is a Rewire slave.
HALion Player 3.3.1.456 pre-release fixes:
- Standalone: Tempo settings in preferences are now recalled on next start.
- Fixed an issue where the Nuendo Key Editor and the Transport bar could be affected by HALion Player.
- The Help Menu now works when Halion Player is a Rewire slave.
- Under AU the wrong protection license were required.
HALion String Edition 2.3.1.456 pre-release fixes:
- Standalone: Tempo settings in preferences are now recalled on next start.
- Fixed an issue where the Nuendo Key Editor and the Transport bar could be affected by HALion String Edition.
- The Help Menu now works when HALion String Edition is a Rewire slave.
HALion Symphonic Orchestra 1.3.1.456 pre-release fixes:
- Standalone: Tempo settings in preferences are now recalled on next start.
- Fixed an issue where the Nuendo Key Editor and the Transport bar could be affected by HALion Symphonic Orchestra.
- The Help Menu now works when HALion Symphonic Orchestra is a Rewire slave.
NOTE: These Pre-Release versions offer improvements which Steinberg would like to make available to its customers as soon as possible. While preliminary testing carried out with these versions indicates that they are stable and reliable, they have not gone through the full QA testing cycle. Therefore, these pre-release versions are not officially supported.
