Sony Creative Software releases Drums From The Big Room: The Mixes Loop Library [ACID]

Sony Creative Software has announced the availability of its Drums From the Big Room: The Mixes Premium Collection loop library. Apparently, overwhelming user demand prompted the company to distill its professional-level box set of multitrack drum performances, Drums from the Big Room, into this value-packed two-disc 24-bit Premium Collection title containing stereo files mixed by Greg Ladanyi. The new loop collection streamlines workflow while providing the same classic O'Henry Studio sound that made the box set a high-end studio essential.

The new title features all the stereo files from the original Big Room box set edition, as well as two exclusive multitrack bonus sessions that provide new users with the opportunity to try mixing Steve Ferrone's performances within their workstations of choice. Like all royalty-free Premium Collection titles, The Mixes features deluxe packaging with extensive artist interviews and session photos.

Opening for The Who at the tender age of 12, drummer Ferrone has performed on smash hits for The Bee Gees, Whitney Houston, Duran Duran, Paul Simon, Peter Frampton, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and many other A-level artists. Producer/Engineer Greg Ladanyi has been nominated for 16 Grammy awards during the course of his career, and has worked with artists including Fleetwood Mac, Warren Zevon and Don Henley.
