SKnote

SKnote has released SDC - Stereo Double Compressor, a new plugin for Windows and Mac OS X in Audio Unit and VST plugin formats with an introductory price of 29.99$.

Including one Optical compressor and a fast, discrete VCA compressor on each channel, SDC is great for mastering and mixing on all kinds of sources, combining the slow, musical action of optical compression to fast and controllable action of discrete circuits.

An internal Mid/Side encoding/decoding matrix makes Mid/Side dynamic control and balance accessible.

Several electroluminescent panels and photoresistors are modeled, together with multiple output transformers.

MSRP is 39.99$.

I just bought this, but there is *NO* AUDIO UNIT version in the download. Only a VST (And the filename is kind of strange). I selected "mac" and clicked "download" i get this file downloaded "1430577467tmp.zip" file (i tried downloading the 8.7mb file 5 times now, and it gets down in seconds). The file inside the archive is named "SDC.vst_1430576327" (which really makes no sense to me). I sent SKnote email and hope to hear from them soon. I need the audio unit version : (.

you rename the file extension to.au and its works. Strange I know but that is what they will tell you to do. I have SKnote Xtrim and had the same issue.
