Raising Jake Studios has released DRP2a mkII version 2.1.0.

The DRP2a mkII plugin is an emulation of the hardware unit manufactured by Rocksonics Professional Audio in the mid 1990s. The update adds new features and bug fixes including:

  • Fixed mono channel compatibility issue on Logic Pro and affected VST hosts.
  • Significant reduction in CPU load in Mac OS.
  • Double click entry for all rotary controls.
  • Command key modifiers now per Pro Tools common configuration.

DRP2a is a "Swiss Army Knife" of dynamics processors capable of a multitude of functions - all within one little plugin interface including:

  • Dynamics Compression.
  • Dynamics Expansion.
  • Soft Noise Gating.
  • Limiting.
  • Clipping.
  • De-essing.
  • Ducking.
  • Pumping And More.
