OverTone DSP has updated their RVB500 Plate Reverb Plug-in to V2.1.1. This update addresses the following issues affecting the VST3 plug-in:
- Output could occasionally become silenced or corrupted when adding the plug-in to a buss in some host applications.
- Reverb tails could get cut short in Cubase if the option to "suspend VST3 processing when silent" was selected.
The RVB500 provides a range of classic plate reverb effects while being economical with CPU and system resources. Controls such as a sub-sample resolution pre-delay, variable time and damping, together with virtual reverb-plate transducer amplifiers for enhanced harmonic drive at high levels and a 'wet-only' switch, for use on a dedicated reverb buss, enable a wide variety of processing options.
This is a free update for existing users. The RVB500 is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux at an introductory discount of 25% until October 2014.
