Nucleus SoundLab has released Viral Free, which offers a free taster of what the Viral Outbreak series of samples is all about. For those unfamiliar with the Viral Outbreak samples, these are recordings of a Virus TI sampled at 24/96 khz (down-sampled to 24/48 khz). Each sample was then hand-looped and processed.
Viral Free consists of:
- 170+ Mb (32-bit format) of royalty-free samples.
- 16 soundsets in Wusikstation, SFZ (Rapture and Dimension) and Kontakt formats.
- $10 discount voucher for the full 2+ Gb and 820 presets of Viral Outbreak Volume One.
- 24 Wusikstation presets included with more on the way.
In addition, Nucleus SoundLab has finished a free bonus patch update for Viral Outbreak Volume One customers. It consists of 80 new Wusikstation v2/v3 patches by Ugo, elv and Teksonik. This brings Viral Outbreak Volume One's patch count to 820.
