Native Instruments has released version 5.1.2 of Reaktor. The new version brings Universal Binary support and also features improved integration with Native Instruments' universal sound platform KORE, resulting in faster loading of KORE sounds based on Reaktor instruments and effects.
A new Reaktor 5 demo based on version 5.1.2 will also available for download shortly.
Changes:
- Universal Binary: Now compatible with Intel Macs.
- Windows version file format compatible with the Mac Universal Binary version.
- Improved integration with KORE allows for faster load times of KoreSounds.
- New NI Service Center for update activation included.
For installation on an Intel-based Macintosh computer, a Universal Binary license code can be purchased for $29 / €25 in the NI Online Shop. Customers who first registered Reaktor 5 after September 12th, 2006, are eligible for a free Universal Binary license code.
