The Reaktor User Library is celebrating an impressive milestone: More than 1,000 Reaktor ensembles have been uploaded since its inception five years ago.
To mark the post-millennial occasion, Native Instruments is happy to offer a special ensemble as a free download. OKI COMPUTER is an innovative "retro computer sound emulator" that not only recreates the classic sounds of the c64-generation, but also pumps out squelchy basses and tricky rhythms.
Native Instruments has also put an interview with NI founder and Reaktor mastermind Stephan Schmitt online in which he talks about the history of Reaktor, the User Library and the plans for the future.
