ModeAudio has released Distant Echo - Drones & Textures, a collection of 120 evolving, atmospheric SFX samples in WAV format. Ranging in length from 30 to 60 seconds, the included sounds are designed to be a versatile and flexible selection of ambiances, drones and sound beds, ideal for use in Film, TV and Game soundtrack design as well as spicing up Dance and EDM productions.
A number of modern synthesis and processing techniques have been used in the creation of these sounds, from phase vocoding, spectral shifting, FFT resynthesis, granulation, FM, additive and beyond.
