FXpansion has announced Himalaya: Modernity, a DCAM: Synth Squad preset pack created by sound designer Electric Himalaya. Modernity is the modern dance-oriented counterpart to Antiquity, Himalaya's comprehensive set of vintage analogue-style presets.
Himalaya: Modernity covers a wide spectrum of electronic music, and looks to the future with inspirational new sounds. It offers a huge array of searing basses, leads and special FX perfect for upfront house, techno, electro and many other dance styles. Dubstep producers will love the churning, modulated basses, while further up the frequency range you'll find expressive polysynth patches, juicy pads and diverse arps, textures, plucks, chords and stabs.
A versatile range of rhythmic and sequenced presets completes the collection. These dynamic patches make extensive use of LFOs, looping envelopes and Fusor's Animator step-sequencer, as well as the kind of creative unison voice tricks that are only possible in DCAM: Synth Squad. The result is a set of sounds full of movement, depth and groove.
Modernity's presets are created for Fusor and make extensive use of FX treatments, synth layering and intuitive macro control assignments.
Modernity Highlights:
- 280 electronic/dance sounds for DCAM: Synth Squad Fusor.
- Searing basses, leads and special FX.
- Churning, modulated dubstep basses.
- Expressive polysynth patches and pads.
- Diverse arps, textures, plucks, chords & stabs.
Himalaya: Modernity costs £25 / €29 / $39 and is available now from the FXpansion Webshop.
