d16 group has announced Drumazon, a new virtual drum synthesizer emulation of a famous drum machine from the 80's.

- Internal clock (tempo range from 30 to 303 BPM, adjustable with +-0.1 BPM).
- Shuffle mode.
- Controllable from host via MIDI notes corresponding to patterns numbers or directly from internal sequencer in Play mode.
- Original Scale function and Rescale which automatically fits pattern to the chosen measure.
- External mode:
- MIDI map equivalent with the classic drum machine's map.
- MIDI tune and velocity controls instruments' levels and tunes.
Drumazon is scheduled for release on December 15th, 2006 priced at €149, although it can be pre-ordered for €119 until then. It will be available as a VST instrument for Windows and Mac OS X (Universal Binary). Audio demos are already available.
