Tau2 and Stepdesigner

Hi

Would like to use the Step Designer in Cubase SX3 with Tau2. But when trying to get those lovely slides (glides) i'm having problems.

When you tie a note in Step Designer it moves the note to the same value as the previous one, therefore increasing the length (which is correct) but not a slide from high to low etc.

Has anyone had any luck with this midi plug in, as i would like to use it for its features over the key edit?
Had a go with a combination of midi controller messages below the step edit window, but no luck.
